This spacious and comfortable house could not have been better. It not only met, but far exceeded our expectations! The furnishings and decor were surprisingly posh and stylish. The common areas, both upstairs and down, were comfortable and inviting. The kitchen was equipped with every device, implement, and amenity imaginable. And although we expected to have only two bedrooms available to us, we had free use of all three. The beds — three queens, I believe — were all extremely comfortable. The bathrooms (two upstairs and one down) were large and pristinely clean. Our hosts could not have been more helpful and responsive. Plus the place was an easy walk from cool shops, restaurants, and a fab coffee spot-slash-bakery called Grand Central with phenomenal pastries, beverages, and breads. We cannot wait to return to this superb house the next time we visit Portland. What a find!

This was a great property and in a fantastic location. The place was exactly as described. However, a few things stood out. 1. We had rented the main house and had not realized it was 'unit A' meaning there was a unit B! It turned out to be a garage converted to a unit. Imagine our shock when early the next morning we heard laughter coming from what we thought was our house's backyard. There was a woman sitting in a chair just below our porch steps in a chair. We talked to hear and were reassured. Suggestion: there should be some way to make it clear that there is another property on the premises. 2. The house had nothing in terms of basic supplies. Absolutely nothing, not even salt, sugar, coffee or tea. Typically, there's some stuff left over by previous occupants in AirBnBs. At least having basic coffee, tea, and sugar would have helped. 3. The house has several seating areas but only 2 throw blankets. Have a few more blankets for people to enjoy cozy screen time or social time.

We absolutely loved our stay! Our daughter is in college in Portland, and we have found our new favorite place to stay! The house is beautifully appointed, large, comfy beds and a big fireplace. Sellwood is a lovely neighborhood, walking distance to many shops, restaurants and cafes. Fabulous place to stay!

Place was awesome, comfortable, spacious, warm and inviting. Well stocked with the essentials. Kitchen large and useful for cooking family meals, large table to fit everyone. Fireplace was awesome. Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms stocked, plenty of towels. I really did not want to leave. I would recommend to anyone and will be back as soon as I can be!

After no power for days and trees down all over our neighborhood we were so grateful to find a warm and comfortable place to stay. It was a chaotic time yet they were responsive and helpful in confirming everything and answering questions. We didn't get to enjoy the neighborhood with everything covered in ice, but the location is fantastic and the front porch looked so inviting. Every room was well appointed and very clean. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the lounging areas as well as the 3 bedrooms. We particularly enjoyed sitting by the fireplace and playing games a the dining table. Although we didn't cook at the house, the kitchen was very well appointed. The only thing we would recommend for future would be a few throw blankets...not because it was difficult to control the temperature...just because we like them (some may not prefer). would definitely stay again!

Beautiful renovation in the lovely Sellwood neighborhood. The home is as described in the listing. Nicely furnished and clean. Note that there is a tenant in the basement which threw us - not a problem but would have been nice to know! There may be one in the garage too but we didn’t see them. The rooms are comfortable but not overly so - low quality linens and pillows etc. There are plenty of towels but they aren’t great towels - small and cheap. We were left four laundry pods. Seems a bit cheap for what we paid. The kitchen is beautiful but the equipment is cheap and much of it needs to be replaced. There was one kitchen towel. The coffee maker is a tiny 4 cup thing that makes terrible coffee. No grinder as others have noted. We would have liked to sit outside but the front porch furniture was filthy and very uncomfortable. The back porch furniture was also in need of a cleaning. There’s a lovely courtyard in the back but it’s unfurnished. Bottom line it’s a nice place but needs work

Fabulous, fabulous place! Great location (I was familiar with the area, my daughter lives blocks away). The house had everything you could imagine. They had coffee so on my first morning, I did not have to rush to the grocery store (although the is a great grocery store 5 blocks away). The house was very clean and easy to access. Sweet patio outside, parking spot in driveway. Safe, fun, walkable area. The house was very updated and very comfortable. A heater/air conditioner in every room, a small office where you can close the doors and work. 3 lovely bedrooms upstairs and another sitting area. Bathrooms were well stocked with shampoo, conditioner, soap. I really cannot think of anything this place was lacking. Highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.

House was a great place for our week in Portland. Very walkable neighborhood with good coffee, grocery store and restaurants within blocks. Beautiful landscaping. Nicely appointed house. Only issue we encountered was the downstairs (basement) apartment complained about our being too loud one evening while we we were having dinner with friends. Apologies on our end for disturbing them. We were surprised by the complaint because we were just a group of 6 adults having dinner. Overall it was a great stay and we would rent it again.

This is a beautiful house in a great neighborhood with restaurants, coffee shops, and an upscale market within a couple blocks. The house was absolutely gorgeous. It was built relative recently, but in a classic Portland style. As a result, it fits beautifully in the neighborhood, but it has modern plumbing, a great kitchen, new windows, etc. The layout was very nice, with an open floorpan on the ground floor that is great for family gatherings. The only real issue was that there were some bedrooms and closet doors that need some minor maintenance. One of the best houses I have ever rented! Note that the description was a little ambiguous about the number of bedrooms; there are three very nice bedrooms.

I book this lovely craftsman home for me and and 3 nieces. This remodled home has surpass my expectations. The home looks professionally furnished everything was spotless and the beds so comfortable. You can walk to restaurants and market and all are at high quality. The porch is what i love the most. I will definitely return!

What a wonderful surprise to see and stay in this beautiful house! I would highly recommend it to others. A couple of minor issues: the dishwasher mounts are broken which causes it to almost fall out of the cabinet when opening the door. The bbq is very rusty inside and only 3 burners work. There is a gas smell in the utility closet, possibly a leak. Master bathroom shower door is mounted incorrectly- the door swings out and completely blocks one of the sinks

The booking, check-in and check-out processes were super smooth. The home we stayed at in Portland had just the right balance of shared and private spaces — plenty of room for us to gather and enjoy deep conversations, but also enough space for anyone to unwind on their own. The property was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained. We especially loved the peaceful locality — perfect whether you're looking for a quiet, relaxing stay-in weekend or an adventurous exploration of Portland. We all felt at home here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a chill yet memorable stay in the city. Would absolutely book again!

Second time renting this house and it does not disappoint - only gets better. House is lovely, clean and updated with a great yard. In a very walkable area with lots of restaurants, stores and other interesting things. Check in and check out is super super easy. I cannot recommend this place enough. Will be renting again next year.

In the many decades that I have been travelling, this is by far the best accommodation I have ever stayed in. It is a beautiful house, both comfortable and fun. They not only had me with their collection of cookbooks, but also with the interesting things scattered throughout the house. In addition, there was both a front and back porch. Everything you might need was in the kitchen, the bathrooms, and the laundry room. The neighborhood was surprisingly quiet, considering it was just a block from all the shops including: a New Seasons grocery, a great second hand kids shop and, of course, a coffee shop. It is not far from our favorite restaurant, A Cena, and even the Willamette River bike path. Although this home is a total winner, I am a little reluctant to present it in such glowing terms, since it might limit our ability to book it in the future, which we certainly hope to do for our next Blazers game
