Location, location, location. This place was the perfect weekend away, it was small bit it had everything we needed and enough space for 3-4 people. We woke up and went to bed with the sound of the waves crashing and spent many hours in the hot tub overlooking the ocean. Would absolutely recommend this Airbnb again.

We had a wonderful time at Bella Beach. The unit was very clean and had all of the required amenities and easy to find. We did not have to communicate with the property manager however they made themselves easily available to us and checked in several times to make sure we were having a great stay. The property and area is highly recommended!

Great spot. You could not ask for a better location and beach access. Rental has been recently updated and it gorgeous and clean. The kitchen is fully stocked and has a pretty great spice cabinet as well! The washer and dryer was great to have. Fire place was cozy and puts out some good heat. The sofa is like sitting on a pile of rocks however so we rolled out the bed and piled on that. My only recommendation would to be add some coat racks! There’s not a single place in the entire house to hang up a jacket so our stuff was piled around all over the place. A shoe rack would be nice as well. But those things are minor. We would absolutely stay again!!

The perfect beach getaway!! Amazing views, easy access to the beach, and a great place to stay. The house was clean, had everything you could possibly need (including sand toys and a basket of tennis balls for our dog!), and was the perfect place for our family over a sunny/rainy weekend! We will be back!

The location is great- close to a long, wide beach. The hot tub was amazing, we watched the waves and sea animals swimming. We also enjoyed very much sitting by the gas fireplace, especially after some chilly walk on the beach. The place has everything you need, it is well equipped, although keep in mind that it has accommodated some dogs previously and it is not free from the dog’s hair. Try the almond croissants at the C’est la vie cafe, we also recommend hiking the Cascade Head Trail- it’s close to Depoe Bay, and has everything-old forest, meadows, rivers, amazing views of Salmon river estuary and vast ocean. The view and the being close to ocean makes this apartment really special!

Our dog's name is Bella, so of course, how could we go wrong picking this location??? We have stayed many different places on the Oregon Coast from Rockaway to Lincoln City to Glen Eden beach and down in Bannon as well. Pirate Coffee Co. is one of my favorite roasters, just south of this destination in Depoe Bay. WELL....... WE WERE NOT LET DOWN AT ALL! This experience gets placed at the top of our list as the best community, area, location to stay on the Oregon Coast. Just a short flight of well built and sturdy stairs and your toes are sifting through that which they have been missing since your last visit to the soft stuff. Of course the unit we chose had to be right in front facing the beach with a deck, a hot tub in the fresh sea breeze and the kind of views that are typically only found in brochures. The 2 bedroom 2 bath unit had everything we needed for a 3 night stay for 4 of us, 2 of which were celebrating birthdays. Well appointed, clean, simple yet elegant, functional. The interior designers on this one really made the best use for the space. I don't have anything negative to say about our stay other than to make a couple maintenance suggestions. 1-the sliding door lock is not the easiest. It's possible but don't just close the door, put the latch up and walk away, double check triple check that the lock engaged. 2-great little grill that is portable for grilling while gazing at the crashing waves needs to have the lid hinge looked at. At this point there is only one screw/bolt out of 4 holding the lid on. I was really worried one time lifting the lid that the whole thing was just going to come off and go crashing to the pavement. ...oh, and yes, to point out again as in previous reviews, watch where you set your towels out to dry. When you get checked in and are standing on your deck admiring your incredible view, take the time to orient yourself with where the hot tub is located on the deck above yours, it'll come in handy later when the occupants, and there will be occupants, get out of the tub with a bit of water as well, which will be dripping on you and your drying clothes/towels in short order. Just a heads up....ENJOY :)

Fabulous location right on the beach - very comfortable suite with everything you need. Beds are very comfy as well - even the pull-out couch was great. The little community is very quiet and homey and sitting in the private hot tub watching the waves roll in can’t be beat!

There were 5 of us. The home was bright and airy. You can hear the waves all day and night with the windows or doors open and it's wonderful! All the beds were comfortable and the sofa bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept on! The fireplace is wonderful too. The refrigerator is big. There was a tea kettle and coffee grounds. Plenty of silverware and plates/cups. The large dining room table is great for all our pizza. Drinks and snacks! The recliners were very comfy too. The bathroom off each bedroom is very nice. I would definitely stay again!

We had a great time staying in this unit. There was a great view of the ocean with easy access to the beach, a hot tub that was clean and perfectly temp controlled. and a fully stocked living space to make our time perfect! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This lovely home on the beach was a perfect getaway for my husband and are two college age students going to school in Oregon far away from home. We enjoyed whale watching, seafood, the aquarium, and long walks on the beach searching for perfect rocks. Evenings we looked forward to hot tub time while gazing at the stars. This was a fantastic trip. I highly recommend to anyone.

The property was perfect for us and our pup. Location was close to everything…. Grocery stores, shopping, casino and restaurants. Loved the convenience to the beach. Literally a minute! Great little lawn area within walking distance for your dog too! Will definitely book again👍

This property was perfect for our small family! Close to beach access, beautiful ocean views, and a perfectly hot bubbly hot tub to watch the sunset from. Even our bull dog enjoyed sunbathing on the deck! Highly recommend if your looking for a quick couples or small family retreat!

This was one of the best experiences I’ve had on the coast. Easy and non contact entry. The home was clean, updated and everything worked well. The hot tub is on the deck over looking the ocean. We actually booked the unit across as well and it worked so nicely for a group. We celebrated a 45th Bday and just felt like we landed the best option on Bella Beach. Nice community, would stay again w out hesitation.

Our family enjoyed our time at Wave Watcher. Enjoyed watching waves from the deck. The house was very clean and comfortable. Fireplace and hot tub were great for cooler mornings and evenings. Home is located close to Lincoln City and Depoe Bay

My parents have been original owners at Bella Beach but their home is too small for my family of 5. We rented this unit and enjoyed ourselves immensely!! The place was clean, beds were comfortable and the hot tub was the perfect extra touch after a day of playing in the cold Oregon fall weather. I would recommend this place to family and friends and hope to stay here again soon! Our wish list for the place would include better pillows and hot tub safe glassware as my kids wanted to drink water while in the hot tub but everything was glass or ceramic. Thanks for a great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is simply amazing and the price is unbeatable. The views and experiences we had here were worth the price. The only thing I think they need to work on is cleaning. We found hair upon arrival on the beds. Also, the closet doors weren’t properly secured. Besides this the location is to die for and a must see. I’d truly come back to this property.

'Wave Watcher' is our favorite place to stay in Bella Beach. The unit is clean, comfortable, and recently received several design upgrades. The hot tub overlooking the crashing waves of the Pacific Ocean is our favorite amenity. We can't get enough! Highly recommned.

Loved loved loved our stay! This place is wonderful. The view, hot tub, fireplace and extra dog accessories were lovely. Can’t wait to stay again. Super comfortable beds and fun to have the pullout couch in front of fireplace and sliding doors to deck/view. Lots of areas to walk your dog and easy access to the beach.

This was a perfect spot to enjoy the ocean and relax. I spent most of my time in the hot tub or in front of the fireplace. I was lucky to stay during a pretty hefty rain/wind storm so it was cool watching the weather and the waves from the hot tub. I will definitely stay again.

I don't think you can get any closer to the ocean! Unobstructed views of the sea from the home and hot tub. The space was extremely clean and very cozy. We really enjoyed the gas fireplace and hot tub. We cooked several meals in the kitchen and had what we needed. I would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed our stay! Furnishings and bed, comfortable. Washer and dryer was a huge plus. The kitchen was equipped with all the necessities to make our meals. The hot tub was a rare treat, watching the waves while soaking was priceless! There is a very short walk to the very well maintained path and stairs to the beach. Nice, quiet neighborhood. Communication with itrip, quick and responsive. Would love to stay here again, but, alas the prices get too high after March for our family:( Thank you to the owners for making their property available for us to enjoy!

This place is in a lovely location. The hot tub is perfect for a rainy chilly day with views of the waves. Beach access is easy. I text the host during our stay and they got back to me very quickly. I plan to stay here again some day!

What an awesome property this turned out to be for us! The gorgeous views, the hot tub, the gas fireplace, all the comforts of home! I am sure we will come back again. We had no issues with our stay, and really enjoyed how peaceful and serene it was. And, Gracie's Sea Hag Restaurant is a must!

Definitely my favorite place I’ve stayed at the coast! We’ve stayed in numerous airbnbs and this one is at the top of my list. The house was cozy and well decorated. For a wind and snow storm and rain storm this is a great place for viewing the ocean. Great access to beach too!

This was the perfect location and such an awesome property. There were four of us that stayed and we had the best time together. The weather was gorgeous while we were there, but more importantly, the house was super clean, perfectly sized and had everything we could have possibly wanted. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and the fireplace, cooking a bit in the kitchen, and finding new restaurants. Cannot wait to come back again!!

The property is wonderful. Waking up to the sound of the waves and the view completely unobstructed. The kitchen was stocked pretty decently, the bedrooms having their own baths was great. I was able to have my fur friend with me and she loved it too! It is clean and nicely furnished. Can't say enough good things.

Whale Watcher was a very good first impression for our first visit to the Gleneden Beach area. The unit, compact and comfortable, had a view of the ocean and easy beach access just a few feet away. The Bella Beach Resort is a lovely community with a small park and playground conveniently located between Lincoln City and Depoe Bay. Beds in the unit were very comfortable, kitchen well stocked. We did have just a couple of issues when we checked in but the manager quickly responded and had a maintenance person take care of them promptly. One suggestion; provide a mat just inside the sliding door from the hot tub for wet feet. We are happy to recommend Whale Watcher for your beach getaway.

Easy beach access, nice hot tub, close to other activities in Depoe Bay

This trip was our first with our two new Golden Retrievers, and this place was perfect! They had a few new dog toys upon entry, which was a nice surprise. We loved being able to play with the dogs at the beach right there and easily spray them down on the deck to get the salt water and sand off them. We spent a lot of time in the hot tub, enjoying the coastal storm. And did a good amount of agate hunting at low tide. We will most definitely be back!

My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary, and our stay here did not disappoint! Clear instructions were provided so check-in and check-out were easy. Everything was extremely clean, and we had everything we needed. Nothing more relaxing than enjoying the fabulous ocean view from the hot tub!

This place has an amazing setting and was perfect for the three of us! We traveled the coast and came back for dinners and sunsets. Wish we could have stayed longer as the weather was perfection. Got to see whales in Boiler Bay and Rock Creek which was a treat and found a few seals basking in the sun. Try Luna Fish House in Seal Rock. Best food and so fresh!

Lovely place. Enjoyed our time. The only suggestion we have is to cut the shrubs a foot lower to not block the ocean view.

You don't get any closer to the beach than this home. If you like sounds of the ocean at night, then this is the place for you. The only downside I would say is the noise from the upstairs guests walking around, but it wasn't a significant issue. Great stay and wuld be back again.

This was my second time at this property and 25th summer at Bella Beach. The no hassle, easy check-in and checkout process that itrip offers is amazing. There were no issues with the property and it was six days of soaking up the ocean view with easy access to the beach. Great customer service. Love this place and will book through itrip again.

My husband and I stayed here with our good friends. The four of us had a couple of dogs as well. This property was perfect for four adults. The beach access was amazing. The sound of the waves with the window open in the morning was delightful. The kitchen was stocked with utensils, pots and pans, and set up well for cooking our own meals. We even used the provided grill! Most of the house was really clean when we arrived. It was aesthetically pleasing and organized. The one thing that didn't match the cleanliness and aesthetic was the really gross bath mat. In the master bedroom there is a "white" bath mat. It's definitely not white anymore and it's also disintegrating. If you move it pieces of the rubber backing are left behind on the ground. The bath mat wasn't enough of an inconvenience or grossness to ruin what was a beautiful and wonderful home and vacation!

The description of this property and the pictures describe it perfectly. We had a blast and would definitely stay here again! I would recommend trimming the shrubs down so it’s easier to see over them and adding a screen door so the glass one could stay open! But my recommendations are personal preference and would not hinder my decision to stay here again!

We arrived at the coast hoping for a relaxing and restorative vacation spot and were not disappointed. The condo was decorated very nicely and was recently updated. It was clean and had nice amenities including lots of kitchen tools and spices so we could prepare meals there. The hot tub was a great addition since it is usually cool by the shore being able to sit in the tub and watch the ocean was heaven. The gas fireplace was another nice touch. The host was very responsive if we had any questions and checked in with us via text to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. I am hoping to stay there again!

Perfect for a relaxing getaway! Beach access is only a few feet away and watching the sunset from the hot tub was awesome. Inside was cozy, clean, and the bed was comfortable. Highly recommend!

I recently stayed at this house with my husband and his mother and her husband and we had an amazing time. Upon stepping inside the place was clean and beautifully decorated. The real winner here is the view! We enjoyed sitting outside on the patio and in the hot tub just enjoying the fresh air and the sounds of the ocean. It was nice that just a few steps down you can also walk on the beach. This was my first time to the Oregon coast but my mother in law and husband who have been a bunch said this property was in a great location and we got to explore Lincoln City and also go down to Newport and Depoe Bay. Had a blast and would 100% stay again.

The property was just as depicted in the photos and we had a wonderful stay. Watching the ocean from inside, on the deck, and in the hot tub was very relaxing. The master bed was comfortable, the washer and dryer very convenient, and the kitchen was well stocked.

This is one of the nicest appointed rental units I have ever stayed in. Everything was clean and the bed was amazing. We had a few glitches, but they were immediately fixed with ITrip - so much better than Airbnb or Vrbo - A few suggestions - *Better instructions on how to use the TVs for the technically challenged (like me) *back up hot tub chemicals and towels *Light switch at the top of the stairs (we arrived after dark and it was a bit dicey getting down the stairs in the dark and rain).

We first rented the Wale's Tale, which is the beautiful home 2 floors above the Wave Watcher. We then realized we needed more bedrooms. So we added this little gem, directly below, which has 2 bedrooms. It was delightful, and had everything we could possibly need , including a hot tub right on the ocean, as the Wale's Tale has! This is the perfect spot for long walks on the beach, and a relaxing hot tub when you get back.We will stay here again for sure and we highly recommend it. Thank you for the best vacation ever.

We had a great time. Location was perfect just a short walk to get down to the beach. Hot tub on deck with views of the waves crashing. House had everything we needed for the 4 days we visited. Awesome French cafe nearby with a selection of crepes, coffee and pastries.

Nicely updated - had everything we needed, including beach towels and a huge dog bowl! Big gas fireplace in the living room made it easy to warm up the place. The ocean views are priceless from the living room, and it was a quick trip down the beach access stairs to the ocean. Nice hot tub was much appreciated. Huge beach was never crowded. Bathrooms were modern and very clean. Good location was a quick drive to Lincoln City or Newport. Highly recommend!

The property backs onto the bluff above the beach with easy access down stairs onto the beach. The condo was pretty much exactly as described and our stay was just delightful!

We found the house as described, clean and just steps from the beach. Very nice neighborhood with plenty of quiet and safe areas for walking our pup. Just lovely.

We booked this place at the last minute. This was an absolutely beautiful location just steps away from beach access. The views were amazing and it was just what we needed. The property has all the amenities you need and the bed was very comfortable. We will be booking a longer stay at this same property in the near future.

How can you not love sitting in 104 degree water while listening to the waves crash on the shore!! Beautiful property with everything you need. Spices, utensils and a BBQ. My wife and I both have back injuries and beds are tough to sleep in while vacationing but I would have taken this one if I had brought my truck! Best Stay in a long time….TY!!!!!!!

My husband and I spent our 15th anniversary at the coast and loved our stay. We were so glad we were able to bring our 2 small dogs with us. You can’t beat the view. We enjoyed the hot tub at night and just listening to the waves crash in. Cute little community. We will definitely stay again!

This condo is pristinely clean and beautifully decorated. Spectacular view - sat in the hot tub enjoying morning coffee and the fantastic scenery including that big blue Pacific Ocean. The beds are new and comfy - cozy and very well-appointed kitchen. All the linens seemed to be new. Close to many places and a short drive to Depot Bay or Lincoln city. The beach is long for great walks - can't say enough about this place - I already booked a trip for 2025. Our new home away from home.

We had a lovely time overall and are giving five stars because the location is fantastic, the unit is clean and well-maintained, and the hosts clearly put care into the space. That said, we want to share some honest details to help future guests have the best possible expectations—and to give the owners constructive feedback that could take this place from good to great. This is the lower level of a duplex, not a standalone beach house. You have your own private entrance and outdoor space, but you will hear guests staying above you. At times, it felt more like an apartment than a private home. Also worth noting: while the listing says “whole house,” you’re actually renting one of two similar lower-level units side by side. We were in the left unit when facing the ocean, and it felt a bit more private than the other. That’s because to our left is an RV park, so there’s no foot traffic, and we didn’t have people crossing directly past our hot tub or patio. The right-side unit, however, has a bit less privacy—our only access to the beach was by walking along a shared path that runs directly across their yard space, and guests there may experience the same. So while it’s technically a shared bluff, privacy between units isn’t fully separated. Still, the bluff itself is a great feature. You’re perched about 100 feet above the beach, so you get that expansive ocean view without people constantly walking past your windows or hot tub. It’s elevated enough to feel special. The home looks like a boutique beach retreat, and it photographs really well. The décor is on-theme with whites and grays, sea glass and shells, and thoughtfully chosen accents. But the experience is best described as affordable proximity—you’re steps from the ocean with beautiful views and vibes that feel luxurious, but the finishes and furnishings are clearly budget-conscious. The kitchen is small but functional, with everything you need. Countertops and cabinetry are designed to look high-end, but are more in the “economy chic” category—likely MDF or plywood that’s been stained to mimic quartz. The same material is used in the bathrooms, which are basic three-piece setups with older, round-bowl economy toilets—not luxurious, but clean and functional. Beds are very firm, which may work for some but left us wishing for more comfort. There's no A/C, so in warmer months, open windows are your only option—which brings in the ocean breeze and nearby noise. This can be challenging for light sleepers or pets who get spooked by unfamiliar sounds. The living room furniture looks stylish but isn’t especially comfortable. The sleeper sofa is awkward to sit on, and one of the two recliners is tucked behind the fireplace and doesn't face the TV. The TV itself is small and struggles with glare from the large, uncovered windows. The Venetian blinds are damaged and don’t close properly—an upgrade there would go a long way. On the upside, the fireplace is wonderful—it puts out solid heat and is perfect for cozying up with a glass of wine and watching the flames instead of the TV. And the hot tub is truly the standout feature: clean, well-placed, and perfectly positioned for watching the sunset over the ocean. Just brace yourself for that post-soak breeze—it hits fast! While the listing says the space sleeps six, it’s best suited for a couple or a small family. The two bathrooms are attached to the bedrooms, so there’s no shared hallway restroom—something to keep in mind when entertaining. All in all, this is a great place to enjoy oceanfront proximity on a budget. It's beautifully staged, well located, and very pet-friendly. Just know that the luxury is more about the location and view than the finishes inside. We had a great time, and we hope this honest review helps others decide if it’s the right fit for their trip.

Beautiful spot. Have rented it a few times now and it never disappoints. The quick beach access, the expansive ocean views. The beds are actually comfortable!!! Great spot for a getaway.

We had an absolutely perfect stay to celebrate our anniversary! The location right on the beach was stunning—waking up to the sound of the waves and being able to step out directly onto the sand was just incredible. The space itself was spacious, comfortable, and very clean, making it feel like a home away from home. Every detail was thought of, and it made our celebration even more special. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to mark this occasion. Highly recommend!

My friend and I booked this last minute as another home cancelled. It was perfect. Communication and flexibility from the company. Two King beds with attached bathrooms were amazing and being right on the beach was phenomenal. A 7 minute drive to Salishan spa! Would definitely return. Keurig would have been easier than the coffee pot, but honestly zero complaints!

Being right on the beach with the ability to sit on the porch or slide into the hot tub was simply nice!! The little label notes was nice to just simply have direction on use of how to get shower on, or where extra blankets. We actually opted to do this instead of gifts to each other. I think we started a new tradition. Thank you for a beautiful peaceful time away!
