Starfish is a lovely home, nicely furnished, in good condition and clean. Olivia Beach is a nice neighborhood for walking, and centrally located for driving. The property manager was very prompt in responding and clearly customer-service oriented. The house was well laid out with plenty of space. We spent most of our time in the living room, enjoying the gas fireplace. If you bring dogs, be aware that the property is not fully fenced. Also, the stairs down to the beach (which are pretty close and easy to get to) are A LOT. Not an issue for us, but might be for others. There's an at-level beach access via a quick (couple minutes) drive just to the north. We had a nice, easy stay, which was exactly what we were looking for.

This beautiful home was the perfect setting for our little family to celebrate the Xmas holiday away! The pup felt right at home almost immediately, as did we. We even added our own decorations to make it feel like even more like the holidays! The cozy living room with fireplace in the center was just right for relaxing around it watching movies, as well as the ideal location for opening up gifts on Xmas morning. The large open kitchen served us well to make wonderful meals during our stay. The hot tub was a wonderful, and we enjoyed soaking even when it was sleeting and snowing and the wind was howling from the weekend’s wintery weather. The neighborhood was beautiful and just perfect for a morning run or and afternoon walk. The beach was only a quick 10 minute walk away, and you could easily hear the waves. We had such a wonderful time, we didn’t want to leave! We would definitely seek out this place again if/when we make it down to Lincoln City in the future!

Great family friendly house for 2 families (4 adults + 4 kids). Lots of things to do and well stocked with kids cups and such. I wish it had step stools for the younger ones to reach sinks. If that’s all I can recommend, I would consider an overall success.

My family and I are relocating to Lincoln City and decided to rent this lovely home in the Olivia Beach area while we house hunting. The location is awesome - blocks from a beach entrance - and a lovely community park. The property management team - ITrips Vacations- are amazing. Super helpful and quick responses. I highly recommend this vacation rental!

After staying in Starfish Cottage for over a week, i can honestly say it is clean. comfortable & cozy. Located in Olivia Beach, the neighborhood is a mix of -owner occupied & vacation rentals and has strict parking & noise level control I would ask that the house not be filled with floral scents that make you steo back & open windows. For those if us with allergies, respiratory ailments or sensitive noses, the aromas are irritating & repugnant

This was an amazing house. Perfect for our family. There was plenty if space, beds and rooms were great, the most comfortable I've been in a rental home. It was close to everything and we had a great time. It was very clean and stocked with everything you would need while away from home. Thank you for a lovely getaway!

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was clean and spacious and had everything we needed. Our group consisted of 5 adults, 2 pre-teens and a 6 month old. There are just a few cons...The parking is behind the house via a narrow ally and very limited. My husband drove his truck(F150) and if it wasn't for his shorter truck bed, he would not have fit. So don't plan on bringing a big vehicle. The bedrooms in the house consisted of a king in the master, twin bunk and twin in another and a queen in the 3rd. The listing said there was a 4th queen in the room above the garage, but it's definitely not a queen bed. It's a very old futon (full size) and not comfortable. So I wouldn't consider that somewhere to sleep. Lastly, the beach access was conveniently close by, however, there was a lot of stairs. Going down was fine...going back up was hard and if you have little ones, plus beach toys, towels...it will be really difficult. I would rate this house a 9/10 and definitely recommend to friends and family!

We were very happy where we stayed. It was just big enough for all 6 of us. It was very clean. If I had to say anything to improve upon is the guest book needed to be updated. It said the stairs were out going down to the beach and they were open to use. Also, the actual pool was open, but the management still hadn't received the new keys to the pool yet. I called iTrip and they were very helpful and friendly to find out why we couldn't use the pool yet.

We took our adult kids and spouses. The only down side was there weren’t extra towels. So we had to use our bath towels for hot tub. It would be nice if a set of beach towels were provided for hot tub and beach use.

There were disrespectful guests who stayed the night before our check in who didn’t request a late check out but we’re still there when we drove by at 130pm. Instead of having us suffer because of these crappy guests, itrip sent 6 people to come and clean the house asap and worked their butts off to make sure we could still have the place in time. Something I don’t think any other company would do. Great customer service and the place was spotless. Will definitely recommend this company and place

We had a wonderful visit to the “Starfish Cottage”. The home was very well appointed, clean, and a great space for our family. A nice little community with many fun amenities, walking path to the beach, and a great playground. We really enjoyed having a hot tub! Overall, this was a really great stay!! The host company was VERY responsive and easy to work with. A welcome bottle of wine was an especially nice touch after a long drive!

This home went above and beyond our expectations! Located in a picturesque neighborhood. Perfect, restful, atmosphere for my family to get a much needed vacation. Jacuzzi, fireplace, dog friendly and nearby beach access were definite highlights. Will certainly be staying here again, would reccomend this home to friends and family.

We always love our trips to Lincoln City! This community at Olivia Beach is our favorite spot. We have stayed in a couple of homes here and this property, the Star Fish is now one of our favorites. The home was welcoming when we arrived. It was clean and a bottle of wine was waiting for us which was a nice touch. Our kids loved the space and it was very easy for our family of 5 to be comfortable here. We did not have any issues during our stay but upon check out the management company did promptly check on us to make sure we had an enjoyable trip which was nice. I would like to share a few details about the property that may be important to others. The hot tub worked great and was very relaxing. It is right out on the back (what is actually used as front) porch. We still felt we had privacy even though it is in view of neighbors. There is no entry from the front door. You have to enter the access code in the back then open the front if needed. We just used the back door as that’s where parking is. When we arrived I was confused and got a little lost so just a heads up. The parking in the back can get crowded. This home actually has a decent parking area but some of the others next door don’t. Sometimes other peoples cars can get in this homes spots. We only had one vehicle so no problem for us. However if you have multiple cars parking could be an issue. This is true for all the homes in this area. Also keep in mind the size of your vehicle. We have a full size Chevy Silverado pick up. We could easily park sideways but there is no way we could fit another car in our designated spots. If you have compact cars then 2 could comfortably fit. There is an outdoor room above the garage. It is listed in the description but I didn’t realize it’s separate from the house. You have to enter the house code to access it and it’s a really nice area. It can easily be another bedroom or movie/living area spot. If you have extra people joining you on your trip it gives some privacy which I think is nice. The stairs to Olivia beach for this area were not in use. It looks like several of the staircases along the shore are damaged. There are other entrance spots but further walks. We drove and that’s completely fine. Finally there was not a guest book. We definitely would have loved to see and use one. Maybe the manager could add that? Loved the home and would come back!

The house was fantastic. I’m always nervous renting a pet friendly home, thinking that it might not be as clean as I would like. But the house was super clean, and it was so great to have our dog with us. I was very impressed with how well stocked the kitchen was. I like to cook and everything I needed was there - and more! The neighborhood is lovely and the beach was a short walk. Everything was perfect and we would love to stay here again.

We had a wonderful time staying at the Starfish Cottage. It felt very cozy and comfortable, and had everything we needed! The hot tub was very nice to have to relax our legs after so much walking on the beach! Our dog came along with us and they were very thoughtful to leave out some dog bowls, dog towels to wipe wet paws, and a chew toy etc. As far as anything I would change… -I sleep with a fan, and there wasn’t a fan to use. It doesn’t list having a fan so at no fault of the Starfish Cottage, more of a warning that if you also have to sleep with a fan, to consider bringing one. -Staying in the master bedroom, I had a hard time falling asleep because the streetlights were pretty bright beyond the blinds. I would suggest some dark curtains to help resolve that. -And lastly the beds were pretty firm. I know this is something that some people prefer, so not necessarily a bad thing, but more to let you know. Thank you so much for our wonderful stay while we celebrated my 40th birthday with friends!

We spent spring break through Easter at the Star Fish. This was our second stay at this property. It rained all of our visit so we spent more time at the house this time. It was clean and comfortable in a great location. A couple things have been fixed since our last stay. I will suggest again to please replace the light bulb to the room above the garage. It’s very hard to see at night coming back in the house with that light out. The front porch light was out this time as well. We enjoyed cooking and relaxing with our family all week. We also spent many days at the beach (Roads End is my favorite) Lots of agates and beautiful sunsets! The neighborhood of this property is very convenient and feels safe. You can hear the ocean with the windows open at night. Everything we needed was in the home and easy to find. We did completely fill the trash as there is no recycling. Not an issue but keep this in mind if you’re used to separating items. Something we noticed this visit was the TV is very small for the large living room. The couches and chairs are not really lounging compatible. You can’t see the TV well and watching a movie isn’t very easy for a family. A suggestion would be to update the couches and add a larger TV. The bedroom has a big TV and we actually watched movies with the kids in there. We didn’t mind but others many want a more comfortable living room option. Overall we love this property and would return next time we visit.

We loved our Starfish Cottage! Our family of 5 (3 young kids) + our little dog had to leave our home in Salem for a week while some damage due to a water leak was repaired. We lucked out with this place. The kids play area in the sunroom was an instant hit and they enjoyed playing in there all week. The hot tub was also clean and hot and the deck-level entry was great for the kids. Plenty of towels and linens for the week. The kitchen was well equipped and included kids plates and bowls. The bedrooms were nice and the beds were pretty comfy. It’s close to the beach, and even though there are a lot of stairs they end at a beautiful stretch of coastline and are worth the steps. By the end of the week we were looking on Redfin for homes for sale in the community.

After some initial issues, which were promptly addressed by property manager, everything was wonderful. House is cute with a well stocked kitchen. Neighbors next door were super friendly. The Starfish Cottage was wonderful. It was located in a newer neighborhood tucked back just a few minutes walk from the beach and a community park. We woke to deer right outside the house one morning. The house itself was pristine. Even had a cute little nook filled with children’s toys that worked out perfect for the toddler in the group. The hosts left a complimentary bottle of wine for us which went down great after a long day on the coast. We would highly recommend the Starfish Cottage to others and we would definitely stay again.

We couldn’t be happier with our stay here. With a small dog and small kids this house was just perfect . The towels just for the dog were such a welcome addition to our stay and the outdoor shower made using the hot tub so easy and fun. The kids loved the toy room so much and almost entertained themselves 😂 the fact that it was steps from the living room and kitchen made it enjoyable for the adults as well to relax on the really comfortable furniture in front of the fire while still interacting with the kids. Also, it was spotless and I mean that! Pet friendly accommodation is a gamble in that area usually and this house was so clean and everything was easy to find and so comfortable. We’d absolutely love to stay here again! Thank you so much for a wonderful time 😊

This is a great house with plenty of room and lots of amenities- walking distance to a park and the beach. We especially loved the outbuilding with tv and the hot tub. The company was very attentive to any questions and easy to work with.

This is a great house in a lovely neighborhood. The weather was stormy when we were there so we appreciated the fireplace. We were able to do a lot of cooking since the kitchen was stocked with any pots, pans, utensils that we might need. The coffee pot is a smallish drip pot. Very clean. The deck gets very slippery when wet. The beach is actually quite close. Just be prepared for a lot of stairs. There is also a small beach access parking lot very close. We had a lovely stay, and would stay here again.

Would happily go back to this home! Clean and well-equipped property in a charming neighborhood that's close to the beach. Check-in and check-out was easy. Only real issue we had was the barbecue seemed to have an issue with the burner and wouldn't stay lit so it couldn't be used, but the kitchen was well stocked so we managed just fine.

We had an amazing stay at this location. Kids loved the option of the indoor pool, vollyball court, and park down the street. The hot tub was awesome and clean. And the house was perfect for a bigger family. I would say the only thing we didn't like was that the deck leading to the room above the garage was pretty run down. Some boards we were scared to walk on fearing the may give out. But our stay was perfect otherwise.

This is a beautifully decorated home in a quaint and quiet neighborhood with close proximity to a small park and walk to the beach. The home is well equipped with whatever is needed. The walk to the beach does require a lot of stairs (we counted 154 one way) but the stairs are not continuous so makes it doable. Only some of the jets on the hot tub were functioning but it was still nice. We didn't use the recreation facility but looked nice. There were lots of things to do in the area but also was nice to sit and enjoy the cozy home.

This house was very well equipped with supplies throughout. The space was good for our family, the beach was nearby and the ocean theme inside the house was nice. The hot tub was a wonderful extra to have!
