The Rockaway Beach Cottage is the perfect place to escape from it all. Come and relax in this newly updated retreat that sits barely one block from the sandy beaches and gorgeous ocean waves. This is the perfect location, nestled in between Nehalem Bay and Tillamook Bay - Both offer plenty of crabbing opportunities or options to purchase fresh seafood. If you are into fishing, this property is also near many fisheries such as Jetty Fishery, and Kelly's Marina. There are also some good catches at Barview Jetty and Lake Lytle!

The outside has been immaculately maintained and landscaped. Relax on the front or back patio areas and take in the sights and sounds of this wonderful coastal location.
Inside you will find a bright and open layout combining the kitchen, living, and dining areas making it perfect for families or small groups to spend all the time they can together making memories and having fun. Every bit of décor and furnishing was curated to create that perfect blend of beachy style and cozy comfort. The kitchen has been fully stock for your culinary creations.

On the main level there is an incredibly spacious bedroom boasting a queen bed and a small European style sleeper couch that could be great for a kiddo. There is a TV as well here for your streaming desires.

Ascending upstairs is the second bedroom as well as a desk and chair with views of the neighborhood and the ocean beyond. If you absolutely must get some work done, this is the spot to do it.

Without a doubt this wonderful cottage is perfectly located and will make a great home for you to experience and take in all Rockaway Beach and the Pacific Northwest has to offer during your stay.

The Oregon Coast Scenic Railway goes past this home April thru Sept. 22nd (and includes a dinner train option). They also offer the Candy Cane train with visits from Santa on weekends for the Christmas season. This is delightful, both to ride, and to witness right in front of the property. If you are feeling adventurous, try your hand at recumbent biking on the scenic railroad tracks along the coastline. Offered both in Bay City, and Wheeler.

PET FRIENDLY: *There is a $100 fee per pet with a maximum of (1) ONE pet. Guests should refrain from having their pet in the upstairs carpeted areas or on beds. Please be aware failure to adhere to the house rules as it pertains to pets may result in cancellation of the booking with no refund. *

This place is adorable and so comfortable! It was very clean and all the towels and linens felt good, clean, and cozy. Everything was thoughtfully put together and we loved our time there. Very close to the beach with even a view of the ocean from the upstairs bedroom. And we were the perfect distance to town; not too far and not too close! The only draw back was the very late check in, 5:00pm. And very early check out, 10:00am. After staying in many air bnb’s this was a first. I think this was the management company and not the owners though. We met them just by chance and they were super nice! Loved this spot and highly would recommend it!

This home was SO clean and felt "homey". Every time it was time to return, we looked forward to coming here, as it was clean and new! It was close to the beach and parking was also good. We will definitely stay here again and will recommend to friends and family. Very accommodating.

Stayed at the Rockaway Cottage a few days ago for 2 nights. Very comfortable, immaculate and fairly quiet given the location right off the freeway. Loved the decor, the extra amenities in the bathroom and mattresses on both beds super comfortable. Only one concern; narrow, steep stairs upstairs and step-down into lower (but not a basement) bedrooms. Upstairs had one railing; step down - none. Though not steep, would be helpful for 'seniors' to have railing when needed.
