Corey provides a beachy home that is a minutes walk from the beautiful beach of Pacific CIty. The home is clean, welcoming and has all of the necessary amenities to have a comfortable and great stay! The view from the backside is of the river and is amazing at both nighttime and daytime. I would rent this home again and recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Pacific City. Thanks again!

A charming getaway! The house was perfect and was delighted with the extras such as appliances, games, and extra towels and blankets. Such a beautiful view of the river and a quick walk to the beach and state park. I can’t wait to come back when the weather is a bit warmer to fish!

Cozy home with a beautiful view of the river. Perfect getaway spot to enjoy time with the family and dogs. The house was stocked with dishes, appliances, linens, games, and movies! The beach and state park was a 3 minute walk in either direction. I would recommend list space for anyone who wants a quiet retreat.

We had a great time in Pacific City, OR. The house was perfect for all our needs even our furry friend loved to sit outback and watch the ducks on the river. You can open the windows and hear the ocean, plenty of movies and games provided.

Great rental with lots of space. The beach was just a couple blocks walking distance. The space is dog, kid, and beach friendly. The only suggestion I have is a new set (could be cheap) pans because we didn’t have lids when we wanted them for cooking specific things. Maybe a good look over what kitchen items are in house would be worth while. Definitely a good rental! We were very happy.

My wife, our dog Rooney, and I had a fantastic weekend getaway at this property that sits right on the Nestucca River. Its great for fishing, relaxing, going on beach walks, watching sunrises and sunsets, and enjoying a warm cup of coffee on both the upstairs and downstairs backyard porches. Will definitely be staying here again and recommending to friends and family.

The property was fantastic! Easy to find and entry into the house was simple! The house was clean, had all the necessary amenities and more! The property backs right up to the Nestucca River, which is great for fishing, bird watching, and over entertainment. The back porch was a dream to be able to watch sunrises and sunsets, and sip on warm coffee in the morning. Will definitely be staying here again, and many more times to come!

The view was amazing! The river is literally In the back yard and then it is just a few minute walk to beach. The location of this home is perfect! The house was very clean. The house is spacious with an open floor plan. The windows are big, it is very nice to be able to see the river while you are in kitchen or front room. We didn’t have a chance to use it but there is a fire pit In backyard too! I received an email the next morning checking on our stay. The house is dog friendly too! :))) There is a vacuum available, so it is nice to be able to vacuum up any dog hair before check out :) Thank you

Very clean and simply decorated. Back yard is sloping and deer roam. .. you don't want your pet to be off leash. Must climb rocks to get to river for paddle boarding, but river great for this. Kitchen adequate but amount of serving ware is sparse. Overall it turned into a wonderful vacation spot once learned its idiosyncrancies.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this property. We came with our 3 kids (14,12,9) and 2 dogs. Upon arriving at the house we found it easy to get in, there was a key code at the door, code changes for every new guest. Everything was super clean and the layout of the house is really nice. The view of the Nestucca was so beautiful and we really enjoyed the wildlife, especially the mama and baby deer that came right into the backyard! My daughters had a great time feeding them some strawberries. We came down on a very busy weekend, so most restaurants were packed! We chose to make use of the kitchen, which was great, plenty of room to cook meals! We shopped for ingredients at the local grocery store, Chester’s. Nice large dining table for everyone to sit at! The only thing that we noticed is that a few more plates could be useful. If a family of 5-6 eats, there are not enough large plates.:) Not a big deal, we improvised with small and then paper. All bedrooms are upstairs. Beds are comfortable. Showers are great. The view from the upstairs masters is so beautiful, especially first thing in the morning! The house is on a nice neighborhood street, perfect for walks with the dogs and you get to smell the amazing beach air. We can’t wait to come back!!!

Itrip, was Awesome to work with. Everything went very smoothly! They are always available and will make sure your stay is perfect. Great weekend with Blue sunny skies in October. House was minutes from Beach and backed up to the Nestucca River. Fire pit in the backyard made for relaxing evenings. Dogs enjoyed swimming in the river and the big back deck to lay on.

The property is so beautiful and located on a serene river. We made a fire in the pit, played in the yard, fished the river and just loved watching the tide come in and out in the river. The property is so close to the ocean and we had so much fun flying our huge kite and building forts in the driftwood. We had such a great time and the house was beautiful, clean, and quiet. My daughter and I quite dramatically cried as we packed our bags the last day. It felt like home and was hard to leave. We will definitely be back!

The home was clean and spacious. Adequate kitchen supplies for cooking meals in, as opposed to eating out. Beds were comfortable. Water pressure in showers was good, plenty of hot water too. Washer and dryer on site are a big plus. Nice deck, dog safe. Not a lot of towels (exactly the number of towels for 1 per guest) so bring your own if you like extra towels. Lovely view of the river, short walk to beach access (or you can drive). Town is not far, away easy drive. We had 5 adults, 1 teenager, and a puppy. Grandparents (2 adults) in the bedroom with 1 king sized bed. Husband and I (2 adults), plus teenager in the second bedroom (king sized bed and a twin bed). Puppy slept in room with us. Final adult slept on downstairs couch (not a pull out) but it was comfortable. Stairs are steep to get to upper level, so be aware if anyone has mobility issues. All in all an excellent place to stay. Will likely rent again.

This was an excellent location. The stairs to the bedrooms are very steep, so if there’s anybody in your party with mobility issues you should note that particular problem. All in all, it was a great place to stay. Very dog safe, so bring your pet. Some of the dishes in the kitchen did not appear to be clean, but that was easily solved by washing them myself. There are no extra towels, so just be aware that if you are somebody who likes to use an abundance of towels you might want to bring a few of your own. Really, this was a fantastic home in a great location. I would stay there again.

My boyfriend and I (in our 30s) stayed at this location recently with our puppy. The house was clean, spacious, the kitchen had basic items we needed and it was a very short walk to the beach. The front yard was large and had a water view (no real water access though without climbing down some rocks into the water). The deck came with a gate on it to keep our dog (or kids?) safe. Each morning we woke up to deer in the yard- it was a wonderful stay!

It is almost as if there are two Pacific Cities--one on the north end near the Pelican Pub with crowds and crowds of visitors, and the "old town" area to the south where this lovely, comfortable beach house is located. We saw more pelicans than people, enjoyed breakfast on the deck overlooking the river and enjoyed walking into the town center for warm pastries from the Grateful Bread. If nature and privacy are what you're looking for in Pacific City, this is a go-to choice.

A must stay place. View from riverside bedroom w/deck was perfect. Had a few minor flaws,couldn't enter until 1hr 15m past check in(cleaning still going on) dishwasher was broke-not that big of a deal. They left note and supplied sponge & soap-(had to buy more tho.) Unfortunately the 2 TVs upstairs were not exactly accessible. Could only get 1 show for the kids on the roadside room and that didn't last long. Also maybe some directions for TVs would help? BUT we weren't there to just watch TV so no biggie. WOULD stay again!

Great location and setup. The house is so close to the beach, restaurants, and even a winery! The pelican pod that hangs out in the river right behind the house was awesome to watch - at one point there had to be more than 100 of them. The rooms are spacious and we loved that each room had its own bathroom.

The place really is exactly as described. The pictures are accurate and well laid out to give me a good understanding of the layout and amenities. The one thing I will give extra attention to is the owners rapid response. I had a couple minor items come up and had a response within the hour through the AirBNB app.

The home was beautiful and we enjoyed watching all of the wildlife along the river. We saw deer every day, eagles, blue heron. Incredible sunrises and really convenient for taking long walks on the beach. Sincerely appreciated how Corey communicated with us and worked with us and were quite impressed with the cleanliness and attention to those details. This unique beach house with covered decks overlooks the Nestucca River is definitely one we would like to revisit. Really thoughtful how they left a nice bottle of local wine for us too.

We loved our time at the Rivers Edge Retreat - the location is awesome! We enjoyed the gorgeous views from the decks with our morning coffee & our son loved to fish at the river. We were greeted by fresh flowers, little pumpkins (we stayed over Thanksgiving) and a bottle of Pinot noir - how did they know that is my favorite? We enjoyed our beach walks (5 minutes of an easy walk down the road). The house was well-equipped with everything we needed. Beds were really comfy too. The layout of the house was perfect for our family - loved having full baths attached to each bedroom. Overall it was an awesome stay & we can’t wait to come back!

We had a wonderful time. It was a hard holiday for us having lost my Mom and this the perfect change for us. The views are stunning, lots of room, plenty of kitchen supplies, even spices. Everything was clean and smelled good. The garbage can was a bit full when we arrived so we warned Corey that the recycling (no longer picked up separately) would be beside the can and he responded quickly. If it had been a bit less windy we would have enjoyed the full covered deck and the firepit. There were also toys and games, which we did not need, but appreciated the option. Plenty of blankies and pillows and towels. My Dad was in the master bedroom and the room and the bathroom were chilly so if it is winter you might want to bring a heated throw. Our first Abnb and we were delighted :)

Amazing views! We enjoyed fishing from the backyard, and loved the short walk down the street to the State Park. The neighborhood lost power for a couple hours, and Corey was quick to respond and help us troubleshoot getting the internet back up and running. Great stay!

This house is awesome. Extremely clean. Location is excellent: great views of the river and a two-min walk to the beach. Beds were very comfortable as was the couch in the living room. Kitchen was well equipped. Communication with host was great (though there were no issues, so I didn't have any need to contact him during the stay). Highly recommended!

Very clean and cozy. We spent every morning on the two decks sipping coffee and watching the birds on the river as the sun crept over the mountains in the distance. I may learn to fish just so we can go back and fish from the backyard :). Truly beautiful. Our family consists of 5 full grown humans. We felt like we had plenty of space. One of us was a little uncomfortable on the single bed, but that one is pretty much always uncomfortable, so take that with a grain of salt. Don’t forget to check the dryer...it had three super cozy blankets in it that we were glad to have found.

Loved this house on the river, beds very comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed and more. Location was great, waking distance to the beach and several restaurants just across the bridge. Loved going to sleep with the sound of the waves and waking to the sound of Redwing Blackbirds every morning. Breakfasted on the covered deck even in the rain 😊. For birders this is a great spot and I loved the deer passing through the backyard several times during our 3 night stay. Very relaxing, won’t hesitate to recommend, definitely coming back!

You couldn't pick a better location in Pacific City. This home is right on the river and walking distance to the beach. The house was clean and had everything we needed from pots and pans to a fire pit for S'mores. The bedrooms were nicely appointed and each had their own bathroom, which was so nice and convenient. I loved the upper and lower decks and having the river right there. Our daughter loved sitting on the bank and throwing rocks in the water while watching the sea birds and seals swimming and fishing. This was one of the best stays we've ever had in a vacation home.

My husband and I spent a few September days at this home on the banks of the Nestucca River. It is a very quiet neighborhood and close to Pacific City center as well as to Cape Kiwanda and Bob Straub State Park. The house is clean and well-maintained and had everything we needed. The kitchen has nearly everything one would need for cooking, except I don't think there were baking pans.

We had a wonderful time at the house, when we were there. Had a few deer wander through, a bald eagle perch on the river tree two mornings, and saw a seal in the river the last morning. From the house we enjoyed a couple local restaurants, since scenic locations, and traveled north to manzanita and south to walport.

Clean rental. We loved that we could do a lot of walking and hiking right from the place. The kitchen was well equipped. The view of the river is lovely, even in the stormy weather we had. We look forward to returning.

Great deck, great ocation and close to activities. Needs a fire bowl of some kind (propane would be great), a real BBQ, bikes and kayaks would be a great touch. You can rent them in town but...$$. Great stay overall. The best kitchen knife is the one I left. White handle Russell Dexter. You're welcome. It was needed, it better be sharp when we come back:)

Decks and backyard are right on the beautiful Nestucca river with great birdwatching and even some deer-watching. We (3 adults) had a great time and would return to this rental. Even though it was stormy, the house had central heat and we were very cozy. There are covered decks on the back side of the house overlooking the river and also a very spacious back yard. To go to the actual beach without trespassing on private property you have to go a few houses north to the official beach entrance, an easy walk. Or you can go down to the other end of the block to Bob Straub state park which has trails and beach access. Other details: The house was very clean with a well-equipped kitchen. Nice dining area and living room with comfy sectional couches. Both bedrooms are upstairs and each has its own bathroom, a very nice setup. Bedrooms are spacious and beds are very comfortable. Both bedrooms as well as the living room has TV's. I brought my Amazon Fire Stick which worked great for watching TV. There is a firepit in the backyard but we had to provide our own wood. I wish I was still there!

Check-in was easy, property was clean, and location was even more beautiful than I anticipated. I will definitely consider renting this home again in the future. It was convenient to walk across the bridge for coffee and breakfast, and there are two bars with friendly locals. They even applauded my karaoke rendition of Folsom Prison Blues.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this cozy and clean home. We loved watching the birds flock to the inlet, walking to the beach (so close) and playing board games. It was close to great coffee (Cold Coffee Company) and excellent pizza (Meg’s). The home was the perfect size for our family of five!

This place was great. The view of the river was beautiful and the proximity to the beach was great. An easy 5-10mn walk. The couch and beds were super comfy and we had everything we needed. My son loved being able to fish from the backyard and we enjoyed some s’mores in the fire pit. There were deer there to greet us. We had a great time and would definitely stay again!

Been staying at pacific city for a long time and this was a great hidden gem. Away from the crazy busy main beach at Kiwanda.....this house was a close walk to beach access but had a great water view. Close to shops as well. Even accommodated for an early one hour check in time during a busy August month. That was greatly appreciated with 2 young kiddos. The little things go a long way! We will be back!

The location is great. We enjoyed watching the pelicans on the dead tree in the water. Other locations we have stayed at have basic kitchen supplies, salt, pepper, cooking oil. For the price of the rental basic supplies would be appreciated. Even motels provide coffee. We could not find the local football games. In the future this would be a deal breaker. After going fishing we were ready to relax and enjoy the Ducks and Beavers. We have stayed at several different houses in the area. This is our favorite, we certainly would stay again.

We stayed with our adult daughters and their dogs. We loved watching the busy waterfowl on the river, wish the river was accessible from the yard. We loved taking the dogs to the beach and through the state park, all within easy walking distance. The house was spotless and well stocked, comfy furniture and plenty of bathrooms. Excellent way to experience Pacific City and the sand spit. We spent our time hiking the trails at Bob Straub which we could walk to from the front door. Property is well equipped for those traveling with wee ones (high chair, nap matress) - these things are a stress relief for young families.

Just a short walk to the state park and an even shorter walk to the beach dunes. Around the corner from great coffee, breakfast, and dining options. We will definitely return!

Stayed for the long holiday weekend. Communication was great, early check in option very handy (and late check out option). Location perfect for visiting local businesses. 2 beach access points very close. One thing is that the stairs are a little steep for older folks and for someone recently having knee replacement. Love the decks! Would definitely stay again.

The Retreat met all the herd's needs, from all the kitchen necessities for large meals to the double-decker decks overlooking the river and its herons and cormorants and diving ducks and bald eagles to the ample amount of bathroom space we seem to be needing more of these days ;) Awesome central location for walking just over the hump to the beach, down to the Super Dune and tide pools, the other direction to the estuary, and over the bridge to Grateful Bread for biscuits and gravy and the Beach Walk for amazing smash burgers. This place was as described in the listing. The residence was one block from the beach which was amazing! The house itself was clean with no issues and had ample space for the four of us. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with pots/pans, cooking utensils and some spices. The cleaning cost was expensive but when there’s minimal cleanup to be done when leaving it’s a bonus. We would definitely book here again when coming to Pacific City.

We enjoyed the house and the location. The backyard goes right down to the river, which was fun for fishing, kayaking, and hanging out. There is no dock but pretty easy to get in a smaller light kayak if you have good balance on rocks. The beach accessis just a short walk in either other direction. The state park access was close too. The house was very clean and well equipped.

Great location! Pelican Brewery is an easy walk up the beach for lunch with a view of the surfers and dory boats - also a hike up the sand dune is worth the view. The house was peaceful, quiet, and clean. Had an amazing long weekend stay.

Close proximity to local groceries yet away from the center of the tourist attractions. The views from the home were wonderful, the ocean access within walking distance was breathtaking. The place was great, with lots of room for a family of four and a dog. It has a relaxing location right next to the river and walking distance to the beach and town. Enjoyed roasting marshmallows on the fire in the backyard. Pacific City has a nice friendly vibe to it with a mix of a few places to eat and some shops. It’s a good central hub for the coast or to go inland to Tillamook. Would stay there again.

The house was very nice. Everything worked and we really appreciated having our three dogs with us. It's a bit dated but I think that the lower price reflects that. We really liked being by the river - it was much better than being by the beach. It's a great view and we saw lots of birds. We were surprised at how many horses go through the area - I need to keep track of where the horse riding businesses are. Because of the horses we kept our dogs close by. Great access to the beach and to downtown Pacific City. We had a wonderful time.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay. Amazing view. Easy walk to town, river and beach. We loved the house very much. Furniture was not the most comfortable in living room, but it met our needs for the two of us. Just could use some newer furniture that hasn't been overly used.
