The drive there was amazing, really relaxing. House is at a 10/10 location . Got about 3 inches of snow during are stay and 4x4 was needed to go up the drive way after are visit to mount hood. House was really clean and smiled clean. Just a heads up the steps on the main door are kinda slippery when wet so walk slowly. Over all everything was a 10/10.

You won't be disappointed with this stunning Rhododendron chalet. Plenty of space for family & friends, remote location amongst beautiful trees, hot tub/sauna are a real treat. Close to the ski resorts we'll definitely be going back!

My family just came home from a weekend of staying at this house, and we were amazed by how clean, organized and resourceful this house was. It had absolutely everything you may need, including some top notch small kitchen appliances, beautifully furnished living spaces, comfortable beds and plenty of pillows, blankets and towels. Plenty of entertainment and even toys for the kids. The hot tub and sauna were a huge hit and it was so nice to just relax and enjoy life with an amazing view all around. We definitely hope to come back again.

This is a fantastic house, well appointed, well maintained, extremely clean, and modern inside. Highly recommend it. The only downside is that given it's location, it has limited mobile phone reception and the Internet access is via satellite, which makes it a challenge to 'work remotely' on a computer for Zoom calls, etc. because the speeds and connection are just not sufficient. That being said, it's still a great property and there is a Cafe located just a short distance away that provide excellent WiFi/Internet speeds. Hot Tub and Sauna are fantastic!

This place doesn't have a lot of reviews so I'm going to try to be comprehensive: 1. Location is amazing--you literally feel in the middle of nothing. The grounds are as lovely as the pictures suggest. During the day you can hear the water from the zig zag creek below the property. At night we were serenaded by frogs. What you trade for this: coming up a gravel single lane "road" with some ruts, so be prepared to drive slowly/carefully. Internet is sluggish. This is not a work from home location. There is ZERO cell service. You can do wifi texting but again be prepared to be fully unplugged while here (which might be a good thing). 2. The space is open and largely as advertised in the photos. The house was clearly built a couple of decades ago so the finishes show that but it has been filled with newer furniture so the couches, chairs and beds were all comfortable and in great condition. We used the king sized beds in the three true bedrooms and they all felt like pretty new memory foam mattresses. Everyone slept great. The table seats 8 and there are 4 bar stools at the kitchen bar. Each true bedroom came with a "seating" area (a couch, chair or chair and ottoman) so lots of places to relax with a good book. The deck has amazing views (including Mt Hood) that we didn't get to use much as it rained and snowed for most of our trip. Would love to see them add additional lounge chairs out there for summer. The loft rooms as noted are more open. One has a door on one side but not the other so these are great spaces for kids but maybe not adults. The showers had great water pressure and managed to survive two teenage boys used to an on demand hot water system at home. 3. Linens were all hotel quality (plush/soft) 4. Kitchen was well equipped. (blender, french press, instapot!, dishes for at least 12, coffee grinder, muffin pan, full set of measuring spoons/cups, 6-7 mixing bowls of varying sizes), electric water kettle, and a griddle to go over the gas burners that's hiding on top of the extra freezer in the pantry. The icemaker in the freezer appears not to be connected to water so be prepared to bring ice and a few ice trays (they had one or two but this may not be enough to keep larger groups covered) 5. The hot tub seats 6 but you can use the step in as a 7th seat for a smaller person. It's got a great cover with pneumatic arms that make it a one person job to easily remove. It does mean the cover stays behind your heads near the house but this is well worth it to be able to get it open and enjoy when it's snowing or raining outside. The folks on the far end will get some head drips as it is unfortunately at the edge of the deck above, but we used it daily despite the weather. They mounted a grab bar that also allows for easy access from a fully covered location. 6. A few things that aren't on the listing: they have a little nook in the loft with three big boy bean bag chairs and toys for littles; the ponds were filled with salamanders which my youngest loved watching; there is a putting green near one of the ponds that needs a good cleaning (overgrown with moss) but could still make for some fun by non-serious golfers (just bring your own putter). The tv's have direct tv with hbo, disney and one other premium channel I can't remember. No smart tv because the internet struggles with streaming. We played a LOT of board games as a result (which was our goal anyways). We loved that there were little nooks under the bar to store our games while we were there. We were able to use the garage so our car stayed out of the elements which was also a really plus. Summary: while this isn't the most modern place you might find to rent, it is very clean, well stocked, with comfortable beds, amazing views and it forces you to fully unplug while you are here. For the space and views it is well worth the price.

What a wonderful weekend retreat in total privacy on this beautiful property. The weather didn't exactly cooperate (lots of hail!) but we didn't mind at all. We just stayed indoors and enjoyed living like royalty. Would absolutely recommend to anyone.

We had the best time! My husband and I booked this house for when we had family come in town. There was plenty of room and lots to do. Close to plenty hiking, breweries, wineries, and restaurants. The house also has plenty of activities to keep the fun going if the weather isn't the best.

As others mentioned the house is a bit dated but the accommodations, location, and views were amazing! There is plenty of room and the supplies were well stocked to make meals at home with a quick trip to the grocery. Great views of Mount Hood and beautiful property. A/C for summer guest. Very clean had everything we needed and more only downside was the air conditioning stops working properly after the 1st night and we were there during where very warm times. Called management they were very prompt and came out but temperature never changed.. We will return we love the house or everything it has was excellent! Clean and comfortable felt at home.

We came with my family and my brothers family, 4 adults and 5 kids. We had a blast!! The place was a great size and on a peaceful lot. We never saw or heard a neighbor, person, etc. Sitting on the deck after putting the kids to bed, watching the sunset, was a must every evening! Beautiful views of Mt. Hood. We will definitely be renting again and coming back every year!

This house is perfect for a family getaway. We stayed over the long Thanksgiving weekend and had three generations comfortable under one roof. There are plenty of things to do to keep everyone entertained. We played board and card games, air hockey, and puzzles. Lots of channels to watch on Direct TV (including a number of movies previously recorded on the DVR). The hot tub and sauna worked great and were relaxing. The layout of the house is well done. The main floor has the spacious kitchen with plenty of storage (including a walk in pantry), working appliances and offers flexible space to cook meals. The living room, dining area and family room are open and easy to talk between. All of the living furniture is sturdy and comfortable. The main bedroom is large with big bathroom and walk in closet. There is also a half bath and laundry room on the main floor, which was convenient. We loved the wrap around deck with amazing views just off the living space, including a view of the top of Mt. Hood. Seeing all the stars at night was super cool as well. The upstairs loft has two beds and a full bath, plus the games and good seating options. Kids spent a lot of time up there. Downstairs is two bedrooms, including an in suite full bath attached to one. There is access to the backyard and hot tub through one of the rooms. The downstairs also has easy access to the two car garage and plenty of storage. All of the beds are foam/temperpedic style and were comfortable to sleep on. Each bedroom also had a TV with access to Direct TV. The entire property is quiet and secluded. We walked around, sat by the pond, set up some archery games, and enjoyed exploring the pathways/roadways. Clear creek is a 5 min walk and the kids liked going down to see the water. We saw deer walking along the road a couple of times. The few cons were some minor maintenance issues such as dead batteries in a remote, some burnt out light bulbs, and the air hockey wasn't working at first but we were able to fix it. Getting the heat to work took awhile but we finally figured it out. There was also some limited supplies in the kitchen/pantry so make sure you pack some extra things like foil, saran wrap and tupperware food containers. Ice machine didn't work either but there were ice trays in the freezer. Our biggest issue was the slow/limited WiFi that came in and out. That is more a result of the remote location however, and didn't limit phone calling or texting, just streaming abilities. And the weirdest thing we experienced was the phones ringing. We have no idea why but the phones randomly rang a few times, even at 3am and 4am. When we picked it up the line was dead. Very strange, but we turned the ringers off and never hear them again. The good thing was that the management was very responsive to any request we had. They responded right away to our texts and were helpful in figuring the minor maintenance issues out. Overall, this is an excellent place to stay and our family agreed we will do it again at some point in the future.

The house and grounds are very peaceful. Enjoyed listening to the frogs at night. Drinking coffee on the deck and taking in the views of the mountain. Beds were comfortable. Most everything uou needed was in the kitchen. A few thing missing here and there. Didn't have any bath mats for the showers. Over all give it a 5 star. Would surely stay again.

This house was phenomenal! Our family and our son’s coaches family stayed at the house and it was big enough for everyone! The house was spotless, had toys for all ages, and was close enough to Timberline Lodge for summer training and also close enough to Portland for day outings. It’s a great place to unwind and watch the sunrise and sunset over Mt Hood. We can’t say enough good things about this home and property.

Beautiful location for a serene women's weekend! Very comfortable and clean with excellent shared space and quiet bedrooms downstairs. Hot tub and sauna were a huge bonus. Wonderful walking in the quiet neighborhood. Responsive host. Only small issue was the gate code didn't work on the second day but we just backed a car down and activated it from inside so wasn't an issue for us. We hope to go back next year.

Our initial house that was booked unfortunately got cancelled due to maintenance issues. The owners graciously offered us 5 other places. We were disappointed that we were not in government camp directly however the home itself was above and beyond our initial expectations. I was able to invite a few more friends and family and they did not charge us for the inconvenience. The owners were very communicative and resolved any issues we had quickly. Our biggest complaint was that it is not very handicap accessible and there were no pot holders. We made due and I'm sure if i reached out to the owners they would have helped but we just were too busy enjoying our time there. I would absolutely book with these guys again and we hope to visit the same property in the warmer season next time. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

A wonderful location and stunning property. The views were great, the beds soft, the hot tub relaxing. A few things to mention. The microwave went out during our visit, the WiFi never really worked very well, a few lightbulbs were out and the kitchen cooking items have seen some better days. All in all nothing to ruin an otherwise great vacation used to just disconnect and relax!

This home is beautiful, spacious, and sunny with an incredible view of Mount Hood. It’s very is nicely appointed with amenities including a sauna and hot tub and overall just has a great vibe. My family thoroughly enjoyed our week stay here and explored the nearby trails, lakes as well as Timberline resort. Despite being nestled deep in Mount Hood national forest, the wifi worked well. All the TVs are Roku so have your streaming app passwords ready! Everything was provided for our family of four - we had plenty of towels, kitchen and bath amenities. We had an issue with the dryer but the management was very responsive. I highly recommend this home and this agency. Thank you for a beautiful week in the woods!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. The views of Mount Hood were incredible. The home is nicely appointed and the property manager provided clear instructions. The TVs are all Roku so have your streaming app passwords ready to go. The hot tub was a big hit with our teenagers. The house is located an hour outside of Portland, 25 minutes south of Gov Camp. We recommend kayaking on Trillium lake, visiting Timberline, and exploring the numerous hiking trails. Zig Zag Falls is a favorite. You will be delighted with this home - it is open, spacious and sunny, gorgeous views, plenty of towels and bath/kitchen accessories (soaps, detergents, etc.) for our week stay.

Great house for a weekend getaway. The hot tub was hot and big enough for all 8 of us (sitting close together, but still very doable). The sauna was great. Close to Timberline for a ski day. We had minimal snow at the house while we were there, but if it was icy you would definitely need a car and tires that can handle steep, curvy, icy roads. I always get a little nervous when arriving to a new air bnb because I am very sensitive to fragrances. There are so many rentals that use glade plugins, scented candles, and have bedding doused in febreeze or cheap detergent. This house did not have any of that and I sincerely appreciate it. The beds were very firm, which I loved. We went in the winter and I bet it’s gorgeous in the spring and summer. The main living room has a lot of windows and on a clear day you have a perfect view of the top of Mt. Hood. Very quiet area with only sounds of the river down the street. The rental company/host was very helpful and responded very quickly.

A big, beautiful home for our party of 11 to comfortably spend the weekend away. The kitchen was stocked with all the cooking basics and a few extras, including things like an instant pot and milk frother. The kitchen has ample storage space and a big stove top for making plenty of grand meals. The living areas were comfortable and had excellent views. Hot tub and sauna were key to healing after a day on the mountain! WiFi was fast but spotty. Beds are ideal for those that prefer a firm mattress. Lastly, none of the bedrooms are very soundproof (if at all), which posed an issue when some went to sleep before the others.

The house was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The views from the deck and hot tub were highlights. We generally had everything we needed although there could be a few minor improvements to make it ideal - trash cans in every bathroom, extra blankets in the bedrooms, food storage containers, and improvements to the cell service and wi-fi signal (perhaps boosters?). Otherwise, it was a wonderful place to stay with numerous hiking options nearby. And thank you to the management for prompt communication and attentiveness. We would definitely come back!

It’s a clean & spacious home with an incredible view of Mt. Hood! The longer we stayed-the less we wanted to leave. We enjoyed several trips to the hot tub & restful nights on a comfortable king bed. All beds are the same quality! Great kitchen appliances/dishes, & the bath soap scents are lovely! It was so peaceful, private, and the perfect anniversary weekend getaway! Beyond thankful

The house is beautiful and well kept. It is in a great location which is perfect for exploring the mountain. Just lounging around the house was really nice too! We all enjoyed watching all the critters in the yard.

This place was absolutely beautiful! The views of Mt Hood from the patio were amazing. As someone from Texas it was the Oregon experience we were hoping for. Far enough away from everything to enjoy nature but only 15 mins away from restaurants or stores if you need anything. Would highly recommend and hope to come back soon. We were a party of 10 and everyone’s favorite part of the trip was the Airbnb.

My collage roommates and I have been coming here for the last three years to have our yearly get together. It provides enough beds for us all, a good kitchen and table to share meals and stories. We appreciate the quiet and beautiful views, even if the mountain isn’t visible. Plenty of hikes and things to do outside of the home as well.

Beautiful house and property. We stayed here to attend a wedding at Mt. Hood. Easily accommodated 3 families with 2 adults, 3 adults and 2 adults 2 munchkins. The views of the property out the picture window and from the deck are magnificent. The closet full of kids toys was a great bonus. The kitchen was well outfitted. Beware that the last couple hundred yards on the drive up to the house is pretty steep. We certainly stay here again.

My wife and I plus my brother & his wife and adult son plus my son and his wife and their two munchkins stayed for 3 nights to attend a family wedding. The house and property were outstanding. The view from the picture windows and deck were spectacular. My grandson loved the toy closet! The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well outfitted. Guests should be aware the end of the drive to the house is very steep. We would certainly return and had a wonderful.

We had the most restful stay this weekend. The property and surrounding area is gorgeous, even more beautiful than the pictures. Great space for a large group. We are already talking about coming back next year.

The drive there was amazing, really relaxing. House is at a 10/10 location . Got about 3 inches of snow during are stay and 4x4 was needed to go up the drive way after are visit to mount hood. House was really clean and smiled clean. Just a heads up the steps on the main door are kinda slippery when wet so walk slowly. Over all everything was a 10/10.
