Nestled atop the slopes above the Tualatin River resides one of the more unique and special escapes the region has to offer. Please note this location sits on a piece of property where there is another two bedroom retreat (The Cedars at Rivers Edge), a long term residence, and even a small business office above. While any of the locations you stay at, your privacy is completely respected, however there may be other activity in the area including at the incredible shared areas such as the oversized hanging iron fire-pit or the meandering stairs leading to the property's Tualatin River dock. Due to the geographical setting, we do ask that there are not kids under 12 as the drop-off to the river below could be quite hazardous for kiddos.

Marv's Place is a fantastic one bedroom retreat. Every aspect has been renovated, upgraded, and furnished to create that perfect blend of comfort and style. One epic feature is the 275 square foot outdoor covered patio / living space. It boasts an enormous fire table and outdoor seating. The huge TV is perfect for streaming while taking in the sights and sounds of this incredible property. There is also a built in BBQ for all your grilling desires.

Back inside, you'll find a fully stocked kitchen and cozy living area. The bedroom area has a TV as well when you are ready to wind down the day. After a night of restful sleep, take your time and relax and recharge in the huge bathroom with walk-in shower. The washer and dryer is there as well if you need.

As you will see in the center of the courtyard area, sits a large fire-pit, which is a shared community space with the other two bedroom guest home. The entire space is surrounded by trees and the Tualatin River sits just a short walk beyond and down the ramp to the floating dock. Also as we mentioned earlier there is a small office above Marv's Place so people may come and go throughout the day. There is ample parking available for guests on the property as well. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions at all.

PET FRIENDLY: **There is a $50 pet fee per pet with a maximum of $150 (3 pets). Although we are pet-friendly please note your pet must not be left unattended at the house without you present, even if in a crate/kennel. Failure to adhere to the house rules as it pertains to pets may result in cancellation of the booking with no refund. **
Pets must remain on a leash at all times when outside on the property.

Upon arrival I was welcomed. It was an easy self check in. When I walked in everything was brand new and it had that great smell of new build. The ceilings are about 12 feet high so you feel like your in a larger space. The bed was very comfy and had lots of extra linens. The windows are large with a view of the beautiful forest and fire pit. On the patio there was a large TV set up with a gas fire pit and gas built in grill to cook. The place came stocked with everything needed as far as basic necessities like shampoo, body wash, conditioner, dish soap etc. Brand new washer and dryer in unit as well. The shower is open and walk in with nice finishes throughout the bathroom. You can tell corners we’re not cut on this build and everything was done beyond what a normal build would be. 5 out of 5 stars for this BnB. I recommend this rental very much. The place is gorgeous and the people are responsive, respectful and allow privacy.

This was the perfect place for us. The owners who built the units, used the best quality of everything! The place was amazing. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners and they were wonderful people. Tim (owner) is a contractor and his workmanship is top notch. The property is well maintained and right on the river. Absolutely beautiful home! Every detail well planned. Has All you need for a comfortable stay. Including a very comfortable bed. The owner Tim, is an amazing builder of fine quality homes. The grounds are well taken care of. A Fire pit in the center for all to enjoy and located right on the river. Host is very warm , friendly and responsive to any needs. Even provided a complimentary bottle of local wine.
