Clean , super equipped kitchen. Nice views from balcony. It’s a quiet place just north of town and super close lot of places to eat and beach access. Kitchen is on second floor, which is not common but we kind of liked it .

Great spot on the Oregon coast. Well equipped kitchen, two beds down with shared bath, living, dining and well equipped kitchen up with ocean view. Top floor will be warm when its hot and sunny (it wasn’t for us so windows did the job.) We stayed upstairs; our son, his wife and toddler stayed down. Great mix of togetherness and privacy. Great location, with attractions North and South, but you need the car for any outing. Don’t miss the seafood at Old Oregon Smokehouse. Nitpicky suggestions: 1. One screen missing on kitchen window. 2. Add a coffee grinder and cooking oil to kitchen. 3. Add a removable kid gate for babes and toddlers to replace grandpa gate. 4. Water pressure is just adequate-not an easy fix. 5. Ductless air for the top floor would be a nice touch for the occasional hot day with wind from the east. Wasn’t a problem for us.

What a lovely home perched on the hill overlooking Rockaway Beach! Everything you could want is here. The view of the ocean and beach below is stunning, and you can see it from nearly every room in the house. This newer home is beautiful and well appointed. The furniture and beds in the three spacious bedrooms are really comfortable. We enjoyed using the gas grill for a couple meals. There’s a ping pong table in the garage but we were so busy sight-seeing and flying kites that we didn’t have a chance to play. The home is also pet friendly and they welcomed our cockatoo to stay with us for the week. We will definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful time at this home. It was large, VERY CLEAN and had updated amenities. The house is very close to the highway but overall it’s pretty peaceful so that wasn’t a big issue. Our kids loved the ping pong table and Nintendo Wii and everyone had a great time.

We had a nice 5 night stay in this well appointed 3 BR, 2 bath home overlooking the ocean. Recently renovated, the house was very clean and nicely decorated. All communication with the manager was quick, easy and helpful. The house had everything you could need in the kitchen including a large array of spices, washer/dryer and a ping pong table are in the garage. The large deck was nice for soaking up the sun and happy hour and enjoying the sunset. It is walking distance to the beach although if you are spending the day with children, coolers and tents you would need to drive. Don’t miss the Big Tree boardwalk “trail” outside of Rockaway Beach. You’ll feel like you are in a rain forest!

Our stay at Casa del Sol was really great! The house was very clean and well stocked with supplies. The upstairs deck was so nice to hang out on and watch the gorgeous sunsets and ocean views. The yard was nice and spacious. We didn’t try walking to the beach because we had little ones and didn’t want to cross the highway. The drive to the beach, though was super quick, less than 3 minutes I’d guess. All-in-all really great house, especially for families or couples.

We had a super-relaxing stay at this beautiful, fresh, light and very clean coastal home. Loved hearing the waves at high tide and the sunsets were absolutely gorgeous, filling the whole top level with beautiful light. Furniture was pretty AND comfy, kitchen was incredibly well-stocked (lots of pretty white dishes, all kinds of glasses, lots of silverware, blender, pots and pans, bakeware, utensils, toaster oven, etc). We enjoyed sitting out on the deck, morning and night. There are periods of road noise a few times per day, but it wasn’t an issue. We took the path to the beach one night for sunset and it was a huge, gorgeous, misty beach! Rockaway Beach was good for a quick coffee or grocery item but we enjoyed Tillamook for our major shopping and several great attractions (the petting zoo place has a great gourmet food market plus soups and sandwiches and wine tastings). Highly recommend this house and would 100% stay here again!

We had a great stay at Casa del Sol. We were traveling with teens and they loved 2 bedrooms downstairs. We enjoyed the master bedroom upstairs with the view. The house was clean, well stocked and had a fantastic view. There is a path to the neighborhood below so there is easy walking beach access (there is a very short walk on the 101 to get to it, but plenty of shoulder). We had one question and it was answered quickly. We would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa del Sol. Big spacious home on a big lot with great views of the sunset. Hosts were very responsive via text message, which was very helpful. There is a cool little trail going down to the beach nearby. The fact that there had been a huge snowstorm right before we arrived made the stay that much more unique.

It was so comfortable and we felt like we were in luxury. It had everything we needed for cooking and so many dish ware that we weren't doing dishes all the time. Towels were really soft and large. Chairs were very comfortable. I was very pleased that it was just like the pictures

Great house with a beautiful view! I usually hesitate staying at pet friendly lodging because of questionable cleanliness and pet smell, but this house was truly like being home (cleanliness, color scheme, nice thick towels etc). The only disappointment was they don’t allow use of the pellet stove - I was excited when I saw it on the pictures and one of the reasons why I booked the place. It was also a bit stressful the day of our check-in because we did not receive check- in instructions and I had to call the company. After almost 2 hours with no call back, I contacted Airbnb and they followed through. Overall, we were glad we chose this place.

The house had everything you needed to be comfortable during your stay. Washer and dryer was very helpful as was having use of the propane grill. Ping pong table was put to use and we appreciated the big dining room table not only for dinners but for card playing after dinner! We definitely would recommend this house for a rental. Very close to downtown Rockaway.

Overall the house was well decorated and comfortable. Things were overall clean (small issue with the linens that the management was able to help with). The views were beautiful from the deck and upstairs and the kitchen had most things we needed (bring your own oil, other basics, etc). The location was close to Rockaway Beach and Manhattan State Park.

My husband, 21 month old, and I stayed here for 3 nights and 4 days. It’s near the less busier part of highway 101 and in a very quiet neighborhood. The house was super cute, clean, and had everything we needed to cook and relax. The ocean can be seen from all the windows and deck upstairs. I used the downstairs bedroom for my daughter which was great because it had blackout blinds! The house is in a great location too— 4 mins from Rockaway Beach and about 30 mins from Cannon Beach. 5 star house, highly recommended!

This is a great rental the place is very clean and tidy. I did miss that it doesn’t have a/c but after the 1st night we were able to moderate the temperature by opening/closing windows and running the fans. The town was nice and it’s located between Tillimook and Seaside but they both were a bit of a drive. The local food was so/so. We were told of a local must hit up pizza spot and it was in their welcome book but sadly we were told you can only eat outside and inside was considered a bar where minors were not welcome. Traveling with a kid we didn’t get to try that with an hour wait and to take it back to the house or sit outside. The restaurants in the area all seem to close pretty early so planning for that would be wise traffic from the highway that is closely located wasn’t too bad but with the windows open is highly noticeable. Wouldn’t be a problem if it had central air and you didn’t need the windows open to cool the house.

I’d hate to give an excellent review because I would not want to have it fully booked we couldn’t experience it again, but this property was perfect for my family of 5. After doing a full west coast road trip tour, it was nice to settle into a cozy home and make some homemade meals while taking the the views. One drawback, is that it’s not my own home!

The home was absolutely clean and beautiful, very well decorated, comfy beds and very clean setup, bathrooms were shining clean. The upstairs living room and deck offered stunning ocean views. There was a nice ping pong table in the garage which was very entertaining. Kitchen was very updated with everything you need, wish there was sugar instead of sweetener. The Indian food truck within 5 minutes drive has delicious food! Highly recommend this home for best vacation on pacific coast highway!

The house was just as described! It was just far enough away from to be peaceful but only minutes away from the shops/restaurants. The beds were super comfortable and the upstairs deck offered amazing sunsets. I think only minor thing I noticed was there was no broom/vacuum ( I failed to check until my day of checkout to try and sweep prior to checkout ) I'm certain if I would have communicated this sooner it would have been corrected. That was 100% on me as the communication between the owner was exceptional. They not only send you messages throughAirbnb but also text! Also, there is an awesome path to the jetty beach just across the hwy to the NW. The next door neighbor is great and his German Shepherds were friendly once they meet you. I can't recommend this place enough, you will have a vacation you'll tell everyone about staying here!!!

This was a beautifully decorated home with plenty of room to relax and enjoy our vacation. We cooked a wonderful seafood meal provided by a fresh catch from Kelly’s Marina nearby and even enjoyed a few games of ping pong in the basement. There were multiple options for great restaurants close by as well. I would highly recommend staying at this beautiful property.

We loved our stay at Casa Del Sol! The views were extraordinary. The house was very clean and well maintained. If you plan to cook, I would bring everything you need as far as, salt, pepper, oil, etc. the kitchen is equipped with a coffee maker and Starbucks coffee. The rooms were very clean and comfortable beds. The surrounding area is very quiet and peaceful. However, everything closes early. I would definitely keep that in mind when you’re deciding on grabbing a bite to eat. In the kitchen, there is a binder of rules, instructions and a “things to do” great recommendations. I would definitely stay here again.

Everyone in our party of four loved the place. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was very well stocked. We cooked all our meals and had pretty much everything we needed. While close to the highway, the property is situated above the highway and we did not find highway noise to be a problem. The guest mode on Roku worked well and we had no problem watching multiple movies on Netflix. The management company was extremely responsive to a couple of suggestions, but we didn't need to ask anything of them. Initially we had trouble finding the beach access due to a confusing description in the guest book. I believe they are going to fix that, but the bottom line is that you only go 125 yards north of Scenic View Drive and cross to the West side of the highway. There is a blue rope and steps to guide you down the embankment. It is a total of half a mile to get to the beach. The only negative about our stay there is that all four of us stubbed our toes on a bed frame or chair. This was due to needing to remove our shoes which was not a problem for us generally. Recommend to be especially careful in that regard, but this is certainly not a reason to avoid booking this wonderful place.

What a beautiful spot. You are in the perfect spot to be able to go up and down the coast. The house lives up to it's pictures. You do want to bring the essentials - the kitchen has all the utensils but no extras. The ping pong table is a nice add - you should probably bring your own balls though if you want to play. We didn't watch much TV, we were out and about all day, it's not the best picture so bring some games and plan on enjoying the view instead

This place was a great location for my family. Total adults: 2 couples, 1 single, 2 dogs. We all fit well. Our dogs loved the location. With lots of room to run. The beds were comfortable, the dinner table was large enough for all of us to eat at. The owners were quick with their responses and provided an easy check-in process.

This home was very clean. The kitchen had ample cooking supplies. The towels and bed sheets/blankets were plentiful and nice. The WII was a blast for the kids. Ping pong was okay but there was only 1 ball, the others were flat or cracked. There were a couple of board games as well. Plenty of deck chairs and small fire pit outside. If packing stuff for the beach, you’ll probably need to drive as the closest beach access is within about a mile or so, but you have to cross the highway. All in all, I would highly recommend this home

We loved Casa del Sol. The house is exactly as pictured and described in the listing and the ocean view from the decks and picture windows was stunning. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking essentials, which was important to our group. Unfortunately we suffered a power outage due to a winter storm so we had to cut our trip short, but the host worked with us for a partial refund for which we were very grateful. For future storms it would be helpful to have a generator or backup batteries and keep flashlights and candles at the ready. We loved the property and the area, so we were sorry to have to cut our trip short. Would definitely stay again!

The property & the view were beautiful. Road to house was steep & rather hard to locate but worth the effort. There were two short flights of steps to main level which was unexpected. Walked into large lower level w/two bedrooms, bath & TV room but had to walk up the stairs to master bedroom, kitchen and deck area. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes & cookware. Amenities, i.e. foil, plastic bags, oil, etc. were not available.

This home has a beautiful view and is well cared for. The home was very clean, well decorated and cute little touches throughout! We enjoyed the home as a family and the time spent there was very healing, restful, comfortable, and it felt safe to us to just let go and be us. My adult son loves to BBQ and he was able to do that and enjoy the view from the downstairs area. We would recommend the home to everyone. The view was incredible just above hwy 101. Yes, the sound of some traffic. You can still hear the ocean and the birds. We love it and want to go back and enjoy a longer stay!

We were thrilled with our stay at Casa Del Sol. Upon arrival, the house was clean, bright and inviting. The bedrooms were perfect for our family of five, with the master bedroom being especially lovely. The views of the ocean from nearly every room were enjoyed by all! Although we didn’t feel comfortable walking to the beach, getting there was a quick and easy drive up or down the highway a short distance. We also had a couple nice outings driving down the coast to Tillamook and up the coast to Cannon Beach! Being able to bring our dog was possibly the best perk of all. We will definitely plan to stay at Casa Del Sol again. 😃

Really nice comfortable house with great views. Kitchen was pretty well stocked which made cooking meals nice. The house was clean except for a couple dishes but we cleaned those up easily. Communication with the management company was fabulous.
